FREE family-friendly event

Plan to join us as the Central Illinois Emergency Expo returns in 2022! Families can get up close to more than 20 pieces of emergency equipment and meet area first responders at this free community event. The event is held at The Shoppes at Grand Prairie in the parking area between the former Bergner's and Dick's Sporting Goods off Route 91.

Meet a firefighter, try on gear, and spray a fire hose -- Watch a medical helicopter land and go inside it
Turn on the sirens in a squad car -- Check out the inside of an ambulance
Get inside a hovercraft -- Walk through a tactical response truck -- Sit on a motorcycle unit
Talk with the heroes in our community!
