The Peoria County Highway Department invites members of the public to an informational open house regarding the proposed reconstruction of Maxwell Road, between Illinois Route 116 and Middle Road, as well as Middle Road, between Maxwell Road and Dirksen Parkway. The meeting is on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at Ignite Church, located at 905 S. Maxwell Road, Peoria.
The public may view maps, drawings, and aerial photography exhibits at the meeting, as well as discuss the proposed changes to the roadway segments with staff. Peoria County Highway and consulting engineering firm Crawford, Murphy & Tilly will be on hand to answer questions and take comments. Written comments may also be mailed to the Peoria County Highway Department through October 3, 2022, to be taken into consideration.
