The Peoria County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, November 21 due to a water main break. This includes all court business in the 10th Judicial Circuit that would have taken place in the Courthouse. This decision was made jointly between Peoria County Administrator Scott Sorrel, Peoria County Sheriff Chris Watkins, and Chief Judge Katherine Gorman.
All court hearings scheduled for November 21, 2022, will be rescheduled. The Peoria County Circuit Clerk’s Office will send affected parties a notice of the rescheduled court hearing by USPS and email (if available).
As of this time, the Peoria County Courthouse is scheduled to reopen on Tuesday, November 22. Please check our website for updates: www.peoriacounty.gov.
